Oh…deer me

So I’ve had a rough couple of weeks and it was time to take myself out of the misery I was in. I decided to do what I love doing, taking pictures but I didn’t really know where to go. I’ve been to most of the parks in London so I wasn’t so keen on that, so I ended up at Richmond Park. It’s a royal park which is also a wildlife park as they have wild animal, namely deer, that roam freely about. And roam they do.

I managed to see a couple. To be honest, I was afraid. It’s like they watch your every move. From the moment you spot them, to you putting up your camera ready to take your shot…they are watching. Luckily, they didn’t do anything to me…phew…I would have had a bigger story to tell. But they are amazing. To be honest I kinda felt like I was in a safari. I think it’s amazing that wildlife is being protected here in the UK, whilst there is a growing need for space to build, our green spaces are forever protected. I walked a lot on that day. Let me tell you, Richmond park is massive and I think i managed to walk from Richmond to Kingston and that’s a bit of a distance.

Here are some of the shots of the deer which I took. Till next time.

I think I want to be a landscape photographer

After the day I had today, I really think and believe that I want to be a landscape photographer. I love nature and capturing and sharing what God has already put in place. So that’s it, I’ve decided I’m going to be a landscape photographer 🙂

I hope you like these pictures. They are from a Kyoto Gardens in Holland Park London. It’s a really beautiful and peaceful place.

Regents Park, a Royal Park

London, as busy as it can be does have it’s few spaces which are quiet and green. There are several Parks in London, some dotted in the main city centre which makes it great when it’s nice and sunny outside and you just want to have your lunch outside on the grass.

I went to Regents Park a while ago. It wasn’t a sunny day, infact as I was still taking the pictures it started raining. Could you believe my luck? And then again we are in England. Expect all 4 seasons in one. I really liked Regents Park. It’s close to London Zoo(none of the animals escaped) and it connects into the main town area. Easiest tube station (Regents Park). I actually walked along Regents Canal from Camden Market to the park.

Here are some of the shots I took. When it eventually warms up, take a picnic blanket and go and enjoy the sun 🙂

Windsor…castles and more

Ok, i know i’ve been away way too long..trying to put a stop to that. I haven’t been out taking pictures much lately been busy (….you don’t want to hear it. ) Anyway, i was going through my photo library and i realised that I haven’t shared with you my pictures from when i went out to Windsor with my boyfriend, because it was lovely and sunny. I liked the whole area, it had the feel of being in a different land yet it still felt like home.

I will be posting more pictures soon so please keep in touch 🙂
